Your Path to Embodied Teaching
This 300-hour integrative teacher training is more than a certification - it’s a transformational journey.
Expand Your Skillset
Designed for yoga teachers, practitioners, healers, and anyone interested in deepening their own practice, this program blends the wisdom of yoga with the field of somatics, equipping you with tools to support deep healing, nervous system regulation, and embodied presence.
Your Journey To Heart-Led Teaching
Over 28 weeks, you’ll learn to hold space with confidence, guide trauma-informed practices, and practice the art and science of somatic yoga. Whether you are seeking to expand your professional path or to deepen your own personal embodiment, this training will shape you into a teacher who leads with skill, authenticity, and heart.

Cultivating Presence, Nervous System Wisdom, and Somatic Intelligence
Our curriculum is rooted in both tradition and science, guiding you to embody the practices before you teach them. You’ll explore:
Nervous system fundamentals
Trauma-informed approaches to movement
Creating safe, healing environments
The role of fascia in movement and healing
Breath practices for regulation and transformation
Somatic sensing and non-linear movement
The Somatic Keys & emotional processing
Curating playlists for somatic journeys
Fundamentals of yoga asana, anatomy, Chakra system, intelligent sequencing, yin, and yoga nidra
By graduation, you’ll not only understand these tools - you’ll embody them.
Blending Trauma-Informed Science with Somatic Wisdom
Our approach bridges modern science with timeless practice. Each session integrates neuroscience, fascia research, and trauma-informed frameworks with yoga, breathwork, and somatic movement. The result is a uniquely holistic training that honors the body’s innate intelligence.
You’ll emerge with the ability to design classes, retreats, and therapeutic sessions that are safe, inclusive, and deeply transformational.
As a participant, you’ll receive:
250 hours of somatic practitioner & yoga teacher training - virtual
A 50-hour in-person retreat advanced certification (optional) - August 2026
A comprehensive toolkit for leading group classes, workshops, and 1:1 sessions
500 hour E-RYT
Meet Natasha Marvis, Your Yoga Guide
I’m a teacher who believes yoga should be both grounding and playful, sometimes sweaty and strong, sometimes deeply restorative, always transformative. Whether it’s in public classes, retreats, training, or private sessions, my favorite part of this work is watching people realize they’re capable of more than they imagined, both on and off the mat.
Holistic Therapist & Somatic Trauma Practitioner
Meet Megan Sherer, Your Somatic Guide
My healing journey began with yoga, when the practice found me at just 13 years old. I didn't know it at the time, but yoga would help me navigate the challenges of healing from an eating disorder, anxiety, PTSD, and major heartbreak. It carried me through every heavy season of my life, and was ultimately what led me on the path to becoming a somatic therapist. I truly wouldn't be here without my yoga practice, and when layered with somatic practices there's nothing more powerful for healing and personal growth. It has been my honor to get to teach these life-giving tools to others for over 15 years.
I'm trained and certified in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Nervous System Regulation, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Meditation, DBT, Parts Work, and Trauma-Informed Yoga among many other modalities. I believe in a whole-person approach to healing, and it's my mission to empower others with the tools to understand themselves better and come home to their own body.
When I'm not teaching somatics or playing on my own yoga mat, you can find me exploring nature, traveling to new places, or sipping an iced latte in a bookstore somewhere.

What Students Are Saying
With a combined 26 years of teaching experience, we take incredible pride and respect in the opportunity we have to guide our students on their healing path.
My experience with Megan was unbelievable and life changing. I have work with many practitioners, therapists and programs over the years and Megan was able to connect with me in a way that made me comfortable enough to be vulnerable with her about some sensitive issues that I was suppressing and that were preventing me from living my life to it's fullest.
Natasha is a beautiful soul and an amazing yoga teacher. Her ability to hold space for students to bring their authentic selves, ground, and look inward is a gift. Her classes are always a fun mix of fluid vinyasa flow with plenty of opportunities to get upside down, take flight with playful arm balances, and build strength and stamina with holds that push students to focus on their breath. All of this in just one short hour with great music makes it feel like a mini yoga retreat each time. I highly recommend working with Natasha if you are looking to deepen your yoga practice and learn what yoga can do for your body, mind and spirit.
I am more in-tune with my body, and I’m often able to quickly identify what it needs when experiencing an intense emotion/experience. And if I can't quite figure out what exactly would be helpful, I have her list of Somatic Keys taped up in my room so I can easily access it :) I love that Megan guided us through so many of them - having that knowledge and experience has been game-changing. Even though I don’t always reach for said tools, I’m at least noticing so much more, instead of going numb like I would in the past.
I came to this retreat without expectation or agenda. I left with multiple life-changing epiphanies, a deeper love for myself, a quiet inner-critic, excitement for my future, and a zest for life that has been subdued under a layer of self-conscious dust for about 10 years now.
Tasha's teaching style hooked me from her very first class. She has such a warm yet authoritative presence that made me feel confident in her knowledge. You can tell she has dedicated herself not just to the practice of yoga, but to the study of the wisdom and really embodies it through her teaching. I cannot recommend learning from her highly enough!

Who can benefit the most from this training? Is it just for yoga teachers?
This training is for anyone looking to deepen their awareness and understanding of the mind-body connection, and to deepen their relationship with their own somatic practice. You will benefit from this training whether you intend to apply the teachings to your current work as a public or private yoga teacher, as a 1:1 coach or therapist, or simply apply what you learn to your own personal practice.
While there are no strict requirements in regards to previous education, we do strongly encourage all applicants to have a minimum of 2 years of personal practice as a yoga student.
Do I need to attend all the sessions live?
We understand that life gets busy, and you will inevitably miss some sessions during the course of our time together. No problem! Here's what we recommend to stay on track for your certification:
-You may miss up to 3 out of 8 live sessions per month, with the expectation that you'll watch the recordings and do the corresponding homework as soon as possible.
-If you know you'll be traveling for a portion of the program, you can communicate extended absences to us ahead of time.
-We allow up to 12 months for you to finish all of your required coursework and sessions before applying for your certification. (This gives you 5 extra months after the training ends to catch up on any missed sessions).
What will my title be, and is this training accredited?
You will earn the dual titles of "Certified Somatic Yoga Instructor" and "Somatic Facilitator" upon completion of all required coursework and final exams. Certification is not guaranteed by enrolling in or completing the program. Instructor approval is required.
This training is currently in the process of receiving Yoga Alliance accreditation, and you may receive backdated accreditation for a 200-hour YA certification depending on completion date.
What will I be qualified to teach or offer following this training?
You will receive special training in facilitating 1:1 somatic yoga sessions with a variety of client backgrounds and goals. You will also receive training to facilitate trauma-informed group classes and workshops. You'll be equipped to guide somatically-oriented yoga sequences tailored to regulating the nervous system.
How is this different from a regular yoga teacher training?
A typical 200-hour teacher training places emphasis solely on the fundamentals of yoga. As a 300-hour yoga and somatic training, our program goes beyond traditional yoga certification. You’ll also be trained and certified in somatic techniques, giving you tools to support deeper healing. The program is designed for 1:1 or small group work, with a focus on nervous system support, advanced anatomy, and hands-on adjustments. It’s a training that prepares you to guide clients on a truly holistic level—body, mind, and heart.
